About Headz

HEADZ is not just a store.

It is a keen sense of smell, a precise gaze, an attitude towards quality.

We carefully select products that connect with the sensorial, the technical, and the authentic. We are driven by an obsession with aroma, texture, and the intention behind each piece. Our goal isn't to cover everything, but rather to curate the essential: what smells fine.

HEADZ is born from the culture of conscious consumption, where design, quality, and experience are balanced with respect for the plant and its processes.

CULTURE AND SELECTION PROCESS

Why do we price by lot?

Every crop and batch is different. Unless genetically modified cultivars, harsh pesticides, or other industrial methods are used, there will always be natural variations between them. At Headz, we want to fairly reflect the quality of each batch, which is why we offer two pricing tiers.

How do we define these levels?

First, we evaluate the batch's quality: does it meet, exceed, or fall short of expectations in terms of aroma and effect? We also take into account the strain's yield and demand, but, as with everything we do, it all starts with preserving the terpenes.

Beyond crop type: debunking a myth

A common misconception in the industry is that price depends solely on the type of cultivation: outdoor, greenhouse, indoor, or hydroponic. However, this classification doesn't automatically determine the quality or value of the product. In fact, artificial light used in indoor cultivation is often more expensive than sunlight, which increases the price, but doesn't guarantee that it's better.

The true value of each lot depends on multiple variables:

Type and quality of fertilizers: Mineral, ecological, organic… Each one affects the development and final flavor of the crop.

Environmental conditions: Temperature, humidity, ventilation and pest management without harsh chemicals.

Genetics and cultivar selection: Some varieties yield less, but offer unique aromatic profiles and effects.

Harvesting and post-harvest methods: Care in harvesting, drying, and curing preserves terpenes and cannabinoids.

Extraction or manufacturing processes: In the case of concentrates, technique and precision affect purity and potency.

Each batch is unique, so we reflect these differences through fair prices that value real quality, not just generic labels or methods.
